The Sustainable Tourism Program ACLA-P focuses on tracing the policies adopted in the national strategy for sustainable tourism development of the National System of Conservation Areas (SINAC), by following the vision and mission, policies and strategic axes defined.

The action of the program focuses on wildlife protected areas (ASP) that are tourism, ensuring that tourism is not considered incompatible with the objectives of establishing such ASP.
 
Therefore it is considered essential to have management tools of tourism such as capacity studies (physical, real, effective and handling), visitor management plans, zoning and regulation of tourism and development processes granting of non-essential services.
 
Also made efforts to search for mechanisms that help to improve the quality of the visit to the ASP, improve tourist information services, and support community efforts in the tourism industry to promote the responsible use of natural resources in and the buffer zone of the ASP
